The Toyoko Train Line also connects directly to the Hibiya Subway Line, which also provides access to many popular areas of Tokyo. Roppongi, a popular night spot, is three stops from Nakameguro, and Ginza, famous for shopping, is 18 minutes away. Other popular tourist attractions along the Hibiya Line are Tsukiji, location of the famous fish auctions, and Akihabara, the hub for electronic stores.

Access From Airport
From Haneda Airport, take a bus to Shibuya Station, then change to the Toyoko Train Line to Nakameguro. Another option is to take the Keikyu Train Line from Haneda Airport to Shinagawa and change to the JR Yamanote Train Line towards Shibuya. Change to the Hibiya Line at Ebisu Station and go one stop to Nakameguro.

Cherry Blossom Viewing
Each Spring, from the end of March to early April, cherry trees along the Meguro River provide one of the most popular cherry blossom viewing spots in the Tokyo area. Many restaurants along the river provide spectacular views of the cherry blossoms while dining. Cherry blossoms can also be enjoyed from boats meandering along the river.

Events & Attractions
A traditional festival is held in the beginning of August every summer in Nakameguro. Participants dress in traditional costumes and perform dances along the streets of Nakameguro. Enjoy the "Awa Dance" and "Yosakoi", as well as traditional festival foods and special cuisine provided by local restaurants and vendors. A flea market is held at a local park and experience Japan's history at the many shrines and temples in the area.
